We support nearly every major UK potato seed supply chain. 

Aeroponics & Peat Systems 

We produce mini tubers through two systems: 

  • 75% aeroponic production 
  • 25% peatbased production 

Each system supports different varietal needs. 

Our Aeroponic system offers significant benefits, including: 

  • Up to 20–30% more tubers per plant 
  • Faster emergence 
  • Higher stem numbers 
  • Earlier maturity and quicker virus resistance 
  • Mini tubers up to 8 weeks physiologically older than peat-grown equivalents 

Aeroponics can produce 20+ tubers per plant, compared with approximately 4 in peat systems, making our output both high-performing and cost-effective. 

 

Government Certified Quality 

To guarantee the highest seed standards, our facility undergoes: 

  • Annual inspections by Scottish Government officials 
  • Three crop inspections during the growing season 
  • A pre dispatch inspection before mini tubers leave the site 

All plant material originates from SASA approved tissue culture, ensuring fully traceable, disease free starting stock. Customers value our ability to deliver the highest-grade, indoor-grown, virus-free mini tubers. 

Advanced Production Facilities 

Our purpose-built mini tuber site also has: 

  • Six climate-controlled structures with automated heating, watering, and ventilation 
  • Isolation from commercial potato crops to minimise disease and aphid pressure 
  • Springfed water supply 
  • Dedicated power infrastructure with generator backup 
  • Onsite storage, bulb grading, sizing, and automated counting 

This controlled environment enables consistent, reliable production at scale.
