Scale & Performance
At our grading facility, we have a annual washing and sizing capacity in excess of 40,000 tonnes, with approximately 1,000 tonnes washed and graded weekly.
We can supply size grading in 10–20mm increments, covering the full spectrum from 25–150mm.
We supply in 10kg nets, 1tonne bags, boxed, bulk loads, and bunched beetroot.
Consistency of Supply
Consistent supply is maintained through:
- Detailed sequential drilling, harvest, and storage programme
- Alignment with predicted customer demand
- Structured despatch scheduling
- Strong technical knowledge within the team
- Daily cooked checks validate taste, texture, and consistency.
Varieties & Innovation
We grow five core commercial varieties, supported by a comprehensive trial programme with all major seed houses.
An example of a standout variety is Scarlett, selected for its excellent shape, deep colour, strong flavour, ease of peeling, and consistently high yields.
Each season, around 20 new varieties are trialled, ensuring continuous improvement and supporting longterm crop performance. All varieties we grow commercially originate from this trial process.
Recent and ongoing developments include:
- Release of a major new commercial variety—the first in more than 20 years
- Continuous trialling of new genetics and technologies
- Observed improvements in consistency of taste, driven by breeding progress and variety selection
